It would have been helpful to know that I would need tape to cover one of the joints so that it didn't leak. Funnily enough i did not see the 2 washers in the pack so I initially used our older ones. However once this was sorted the shower filter works fine. No leaks. It seems to be working as there is no discoloration on our plastic shower curtain which usually happens after a few weeks.
